When the user needs to enter the public area, the health code can be shown to the inspector, and the inspector uses the same application to scan the health code. When the lab test result, body temperature and travel information are within the normal range, the green color code is displayed for access. If the code becomes yellow or red, it means there may be a problem with one data item, and you need to pay attention to that data. GreenPass users can also make an appointment to enter the public area by sharing their health status in advance.

“This completely simplifies the process, reduces the risk of close contact, and more importantly, the platform does not own any user’s data.” Xin Weimin, founder of the DMA team, said. Therefore, unlike centralized solutions, the GreenPass platform cannot use data without user’s permission.

From the inception of the idea of creating GreenPass, to now launching a number of practical functions, the DMA team has always been working on iteration and optimization day and night, dedicating to the global efforts on fighting against the epidemic and economy reopen. GreenPass also took into account the needs of many requirements on integrating its epidemic mitigation and reopen assistant capabilities into any existing solutions and applications.
